The Hormones Kick In

Jennie had never made the connection between Joe and Brandi's pregnancy, until she caught them in the act. She was outside in the hottub, but she "knew".




Jennie was devastated. Although Brandi was quite aware of Joe's tendency to cheat, Jennie was not. Her marriage to Joe was showing the first signs of trouble, and she began exhibiting odd behavior with a sack of flour.



Interesting little autonomous twist, though. Joe was in the bath when I heard harps a-playing. I look in the kitchen, and Jennie and Gary are finding solace in each other's arms. Made sense, though. They're both family sims, Jennie is desperate for love and is heartbroken, Gary's had so much tragedy in his life...so I left that in the story line.

Gary eventually found a new love, named Abby, and proposed to her. Nikki's ghost was none too happy to find Gary and Abby sharing "her" bed. She became belligerent, constantly scaring the nanny (eventually killing her) and raiding the refrigerator.

The proposal:



The day of the wedding, all the guests were invited, balloons were set out, and the champagne was ready to go. Gary and Abby took their positions at the altar, Gary said his vows, and Abby...didn't. And it was all my fault! You see, when asked who would move in with Abby, without thinking I decided to have Abby's teen brother move in, as well. Brian was Allie's boyfriend, and I thought it would be "convenient". But Brian would have been the 9th sim in an 8 limit household. Which made marriage impossible. Oh, the guilt! So Gary was left standing alone at the altar.



And Jennie was once again in emotional distress, realizing that her new love had been cheating on her. The wedding clued her in.

No stranger to heartbreak, himself, Gary was torn up. He did his best to remain stoic trying to repair his relationship with Abby, so that he could propose again. Poor guy would cry in between jokes and gossip. By the next day, the relationship was high enough to offer yet another ring, and Abby gladly accepted. They got married and things went smoothly this time, despite Jennie's resultant mental breakdown.



Bradley's constant teasing of Abby ("Nyah nyah, you had a great wedding party") would, without fail, put Abby in tears.




Soon after the wedding, Gary and Abby had a baby daughter, Christy. Once again, the unthinkable happened. Abby was electrocuted, immediately after giving birth. So now the Bayfield house was haunted by two of Gary's wives.

Just before Abby's untimely demise:



Brandi soon became pregnant with twins, during an afternoon romp in the sack with Joe. Josh and Jacob were born. Allie was now married to Brian and they had a place of their own. Joey Jr. and Bradley were both teens. Joey Jr. followed happily in his father's footsteps and became a romance sim. He met a cute girl named Madison and they became a steady item. As the sim-hormones were kicking into high gear by this point, I decided Joey Jr. should have a teen woo-hoo mod. And woo hoo they did, all the live long day. And, just like his father, Joey Jr. just couldn't confine himself to one girl. New neighbor Dayna Lorry (another romance sim) popped by one day, and it wasn't long before Joey Jr. was once again putting his new-found teen sexuality to good use with her. It was a one-time fling, though, and Dayna was eyeing Bradley pretty heavily. Bradley eyed her right back, and soon they were going steady.

And kneeling in front is Derek's (now-ex) wife, Cassie. In back, between Dayna and Mandy in the pink dress, is Debbie, who would be Joe's second wife, once she was aged down to YA with Uni...These sims are not all related to each other, by the way. They're mostly roommates.):

I had, by this point, discovered MTS2 and now my game was heavily hacked. Joey Jr., Bradley, Derek (now a teen, himself), Madison, and Dayna all got their own place together while still teenagers, all. Party pad! Derek was also taking advantage of the teen woohoo mod, and his new girlfriend, Cassie, became pregnant. He did the right thing and married her. They moved into a place of their own. Bradley and Dayna were not using the woohoo mod. Bradley insisted they wait until marriage. No, he wasn't a family sim, he's a popularity sim, but he was just a tad grossed out by all the sex happening all around him. Okay, maybe not "grossed out", but, regardless, he was saving himself for marriage, even if his romance-sim wife-to-be didn't.

After getting Cassie pregnant, Derek proposes to, then immediately marries, his young girlfriend:




Joey Jr. and Madison became engaged while still teens, not long after Derek and Cassie moved out. He and Madison soon transitioned into adults, followed closely by Bradley and Dayna. Right after becoming an adult, Bradley proposed to Dayna on bended knee and she accepted. They got married in the front yard, with Joe, Gary, and teen brothers Josh and Jacob in attendance. That wedding was followed by Joey Jr. and Madison's wedding.

That night Bradley finally gets to "do it" for the very first time. Woo hoo!




Haven't recovered all Joey, Jr. and Madison's wedding photos, but here are a few of the toasting (and check out Josh and Jacob as teens!):





Alex Bayfield was now an adult, herself, and very much a romance sim. She'd had a crush on her cousin Allie's now-husband, Brian, for quite some time and was ready to act. Unfortunately she "acted" while in the hot tub visiting Bradley. Remember that pic I put on the MATY forum of Bradley frantically getting out of the hot tub? That was why. And Joey, Jr. was working out on exercise equipment which was right next to the hottub. He hopped off when he saw what was happening, and threw a fit right alongside his brother. The second Brian stepped out of the hot tub, Both guys leapt at him. If you recall, Joey Jr. and Brian's wife, Allie, were very close. They grew up together. And Bradley is a bit of a hot head, anyway, so he was looking for a fight. They did all make nicey-nice by the end of the evening, however. Blame that on "red hands".

Drama over, the Broke-Bayfields, Dayna, Bradley, Madison, and Joey Jr. all relax together:





Dayna soon became pregnant. She gave birth to twins Zachary and Taylor, while Bradley sat in a chair reading a book. Joey Jr. had a son soon after, though not by his wife. Ronnie Dawson, a very short-lived fling, gave birth to Joey-Dawson Broke-Bayfield in the Broke-Bayfield living room, and immediately went home, leaving Joey-Dawson behind. The three kids grew into toddlers, then children, and finally best buddies. Madison then gave birth to PJ Broke-Bayfield. Madison and Joey Jr. were on the outs (they are always "on the outs", it seems, even to this day. But they love each other. They were each other's first love, first kiss, first woohoo...he couldn't ever leave her. And she couldn't leave him, either. For good, at least) Since the household was getting large, Madison moved out on her own, taking Joey-Dawson and PJ with her. Zachary and Taylor became teens. Zachary decided to be a romance sim, Taylor a family sim. Taylor had met a really nice boy named Jeremy LeMieux, also a family sim. They quickly progressed to going steady, and soon after, get married while still teens. Mia and Matty LeMieux were born, one pregnancy right after the other. Zachary was enjoying his time with the teen girls, meanwhile. He had a steady girlfriend, and was nowhere near faithful to her. He even slept with her mom!
